Mark Bantock steps up

Uxbridge have announced the appointment of Mark Bantock as their new Chairman. Mark replaces his much-loved late step-father, Alan Holloway, who passed away in October after more than three decades in the role.

In a statement, they explain:

'Uxbridge Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Bantock as Chairman.

As the stepson of the late Chairman, Alan Holloway, Mark has long held association with the club and is committed to upholding the reputation and values Uxbridge Football Club has established throughout its 150 year history.

Mark brings knowledge of construction management and will take responsibility for leading the club through the planned extensive redevelopment of its Honeycroft ground over the next few years.

We are committed to progress both on and off the pitch in the near future and believe Mark will provide the required qualities to secure a positive future for Uxbridge Football Club.'
