Sevenoaks Town today received the news that their planning permission application had been approved by the local council; news which will allow them to construct a club house, covered stands, changing room facilities and associated landscaping works at Greatness Park.
The club, which serves over sixty teams including fifty four youth sides, seven adult teams and four disability sides, are understandably delighted with the outcome of their hard work. Club Chairman Paul Lansdale explained:
“After lots of hard work and endeavour, I am thrilled for everyone connected to the football club to reveal this brilliant news. Greatness Park welcomes hundreds of participants and visitors each week and our new clubhouse will be a catalyst for us to further progress as a club and build upon what we offer to our players, coaches, parents, volunteers and local community.
We wouldn’t have been able to get this far without the help and support of many people and now we can look ahead to making our plans a reality which is incredibly exciting.
We are looking forward to working very closely with our landlords and our key stakeholders and partners. The future looks incredibly bright especially after two very tough seasons and we are all excited to push forwards and make Greatness Park even greater.”
Congratulations to all at the club- we look forward to enjoying the new facilities! Read more by heading here.
