Brentwood Town have today announced the departure of manager Craig Shipman.
A statement on social media explains:
'The decision wasn’t easy due to Craig’s affiliation with the club. We desperately wanted Craig to achieve but with high expectations, it was not to be.
We wish Craig all the best for the future. We’d like to place on record our thanks to Craig for all his efforts.'
Craig returned to the top job at the club in February. He was previously manager at the Arena for two seasons, 2017-18 and 2018-19.
After departing the club he went on to spend some time as first team coach at Hullbridge Sports, before becoming first team coach at Great Wakering Rovers. More recently he was with Concord Rangers.
