Perhaps the biggest match in the Pitching In Isthmian South Central on Saturday is a nail-biter at the bottom of the table, and fans of Tooting & Mitcham United and Sutton Common Rovers should be ok if they mistakenly bite their nails right down to their elbows, as they will be surrounded by highly trained medical folks!
Hosts Tooting & Mitcham United have designated this a 'Blue Light' game, offering free entry to all emergency services and military personnel. And you don't need a downloadable voucher, or a code, or a pre-booked ticket- just turn up at the turnstiles, show your I.D., and enjoy the game.
The hosts are bottom of the table, thirteen points from safety, and have seven matches left to avoid leaving our ranks for the first time since 1956. Rovers are six points better off, second from bottom, seven points from safety- but they have only lost one of their last seven matches, so are doing all they can to stay up.
Tooting & Mitcham United v Sutton Common Rovers
The Terrors come into this one having lost their last four matches.
If you've never visited Imperial Fields before, it's a five minute walk from Mitcham tram station on the Croydon Tramlink, direct from East Croydon, Mitcham Junction and Wimbledon stations. Get off the tram, exit the station, turn left, and keep walking- you'll be there in no time.
The best of luck to both sides.
