Free Ladies at Margate!

Margate host title-chasing Aveley in Pitching In Isthmian Premier on Saturday, and they have designated the match as 'Ladies Day' with free entry for all women, no matter which team they support! There will also be a raffle, and they will be raising money for The Loft, a local charity who provide furniture to people who just can't afford to adequately equip their homes.

This is a particularly important day for the visiting Millers, five points behind leaders Hornchurch; whilst Gate are twelve points clear of the bottom four and probably just about safe, but undoubtedly would like a few more points to make sure.

On Sunday, Gate's Women's side are also at home, taking on Parkwood Ladies in the Southern Counties East Women's League. When the two sides last met, Gate triumphed five-one, so home fans will be hoping for more of the same, and again, all women who wish to watch will be let in for nothing. Margate Women are fifth in their league, whilst their opponents are only a point above the relegation places and will be desperate for victory. This match kicks off at 2.30 PM.
