Brentwood Town this morning confirmed the return of three of last season's squad, as Andy Freeman, Robbie Rees and Josh Gray agreed to line up in blue once more for the forthcoming 2021-22 campaign.
Attacking midfielder Andy rejoined the club where he was already a legend in the summer of 2019, having played for Aveley and Concord Rangers in the interim. He managed thirty five appearances and eleven goals in the abortive 2019-20 season, and managed another six goals in only ten matches last season.
Robbie, a former promotion winner with Brightlingsea Regent and Brentwood Town, rejoined the club before the start of last season. He managed ten appearances last season, scoring in the last one against Bishop's Stortford.
Josh, a centre back, also arrived in September of last year. Formerly a youth player with Cambridge United, he managed five appearances before last season crashed around our ears.
