Former Dover and Hamlet man signs on at Heath

Haywards Heath Town have announced the signing of experienced centre back Richard Orlu.

Richard was an important member of the Farnborough squad which won promotion to National League South last season, after eventually progressing through the Play Off's. He moved their from Dulwich Hamlet, and also played at National League level for Welling United, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Dover Athletic and Woking. His last period in the Pitching In Isthmian League was many years ago, when he was part of the Canvey Island squad during the 2012-13 campaign.

He was part of the Dover Athletic side which won promotion to the National League via the Play Off's during 2013-14, defeating Sutton United in the Semi-Final and Ebbsfleet United in the Final.
