Bailey Vose signs on at Faversham Town- the 'final piece of Sammy‘s jigsaw'

Faversham Town may not have managed a match on Saturday, but they did bring in a new keeper, with the signing of Bailey Vose.

Bailey started the season at Folkestone Invicta, and made thirty appearances for the club, the last of them on December 17th. He was between the sticks when the two met in the Velocity Cup back in November, his former side wining five-nil. he was previously with Cray Wanderers, making fourteen appearances for Wands towards the end of last season.

Keen Isthmian watchers will also remember Bailey from his time at Margate, where he made eleven appearances during 2020-21 before moving on to Billericay Town when our campaign ended prematurely. He started his career with the youth sides at Brighton & Hove Albion, from where he went on loan to Concord Rangers, Eastbourne Borough and Welling United.

He moved to Colchester United, and whilst there spent time at Dartford on loan before that move to Margate.

Faversham Chair Gary Smart described Beiley's arrival as 'a huge signing- the final piece of Sammy‘s jigsaw.' We'll hopefully see how well that jigsaw has been assembled as the Lilywhites host Beckenham Town tomorrow night.
