Free Millers and Ites!

By Ian Townsend

Cray Valley PM v Sheppey United on Saturday- for nothing!

Cray Valley PM welcome Sheppey United on Saturday, in a match critical for the promotion aspirations of both sides- and the Millers have announced that entry to the match will be free!

We have an intriguing battle for the play off places if you are a neutral, a rather stressful battle if you have a vested interest.

Fourth place Beckenham Town need just one point to confirm a top four finish, but they travel to Burgess Hill Town, who may need a victory to avoid dropping into the relegation play off places. The fifth place Millers are only one point ahead of Sheppey- and Hythe Town- but the Ites know that victory is likely to send them through to the end of season lottery. Cray know that anything less than victory would leave them relying on Hythe failing to win. The seventh place Cannons need to win and hope that the sides above them drop points, but they welcome Haywards Heath Town, who must win to have any chance of escaping the relegation play off places.

It's been a fine season for both sides, but it all comes down to this! The Ites will be looking for revenge after the Millers came from behind to defeat them three-one when they met on Saturday November 26th.

Doors open at 1PM, and kick off, as usual, will be at 3PM.
