Friday Night Football- and a competitive debut for Guernsey FC Women

Corinthian-Casuals play host to a moment of history for the Green Lionesses

We've a Reposs Isthmian Women's Cup First Round tie this evening, and it comes to you from King George's Field, home of Corinthian-Casuals, as Guernsey Women arrive to take on Corinthian-Casuals Women.

This is a big game for the visitors, as it will be their first ever competitive match- and we're delighted to welcome them into our competition- and indeed, into competition- for the first time. That said, the newly reformed Casuals are also still easing into their first season, and they've had a positive start, including a six-two win at Tooting Bec and, most recently, a one-nil win over Wandsworth Borough.

This should be a fine match, and you can watch if for a fiver- free for Under 16's. The bar will be open, and a programme will be available.

Good luck to both sides, tonight and for the rest of the season.
