From Bee to Jammer- whilst still an Iron man

Tommy Dixon-Hodge signs on for Maldon and Tiptree

Goalkeeper Tommy Dixon-Hodge has provided many a bright moment for Basildon United this season, but the Braintree Town goalkeeper has now buzzed off, leaving the Bees for Pitching In North Division rivals Maldon & Tiptree.

Tommy, who is on a dual registration deal from Braintree Town, has played sixteen times for United this season, the last of those appearances coming on 9th November against Stowmarket Town. He was previously a youth player with Chelmsford City, moved to the frozen North to play for Ross County in Scotland, spent time at Rothes, and then ended up in Braintree, which is slightly warmer and has fewer midges.

Tommy saved a penalty against the Jammers earlier this season, so the strike force at the club will be glad to have him behind them, rather than in front of them.
