Gardening with Rooks!

By Ian Townsend

Free sessions at the Dripping Pan as Lewes help you to become more self-sufficient and introduce you to 'Brad's Pit!'

We are imagine that their are many things that the football world could learn from Lewes FC, the Pitching In Isthmian Premier club who were recently honoured with the 'Fan Engagement Club of the Year' prize at the Football Business Awards- but we never really expected that they'd be teaching us how to become gardeners.

Lewes, who have their own community allotment at the Dripping Pan- known as 'Brad's Pit' after its founder, midfielder Bradley Pritchard - have announced gardening workshops every Tuesday at the ground. They run from 10 AM until 1PM, and are designed to help people become more self sufficient, to reduce food waste and to become more creating when cooking with only a small number of ingredients.

These sessions will run until the end of July, and are entirely FREE.
