Hastings bring in ex Brighton, Arsenal and Burnley attacker

Leaders strengthen with the capture of Lancing man

Hastings United have announced the arrival of Ismaila Diallo, who makes the tortuous journey along the A27, undoubtedly arriving after getting stuck in traffic outside Lewes (it's the law).

Ismaila has been a revelation for the Lancers, scoring three times in his twelve appearances, two of thoise goals coming against Hastings' title rivals Cray Valley PM and Ashford United- it's as if he's been doing their work long before his actual arrival!

He has a fabulous football education, appearing as a youth for Brighton & Hove Albion before moving on to Arsenal and then signing for Burnley, where he featured regularly for the Under 23 side in Premier League 2.

Still only twenty, he has plenty of time to get himself back up the ladder, and perhaps Sussex might be where he makes that mark.
