Hastings bring in Hythe defender

By Ian Townsend

Jason Fregene signs on at Hastings United

Fresh from being an integral part of the best defence in Pitching In Isthmian South East, Jason Fregene has decided it's time for a move upwards, and has swapped the Kent coast for the Sussex coast and joined Hastings United.

Jason, a left back, made forty four appearances last season, and scored an impressive nine goals.

During the 2021-22 season he was at Sevenoaks Town, where he made fourteen appearances in the number three shirt- and he has also spent time at Sittingbourne, joining in the summer of 2019 from SCEFL side Hollands & Blair. He previously turned out for Whitstable Town and Gravesham Borough.
