Ashford United, having won only two of their previous ten and lost their last three, had seen rumblings of social media based supporter discontent of late, and were looking to get back to winning ways as they welcomed East Grinstead Town. After a goalless first half those rumblings got louder as Matt Daniel put the visiting Wasps ahead, and those rumblings got louder as the Wasps held on for the points and climbed to thirteenth. Kymani Thomas hit the post for the hosts, but that was as close as they got.
