Highlights: Lancing 0 Cray Valley PM 1

Our big match saw third take on second, as Lancing welcomed Cray Valley PM to Culver Road. The Lancers have been quite magnificent of late, seven unbeaten and having won six of them- the only time they dropped points during that run a draw with today’s opponents a week and a half ago- whilst the Millers are the only unbeaten side in the league. The break arrived goalless, but the visitors took the lead just after the hour when Marcel Barrington got his fourth Millers goal of the season. That turned out to be that, the Millers closing to within- although within doesn’t sound an appropriate word- eleven points of leaders Ramsgate, albeit with three games in hand.
