Aveley yesterday announced the signing of Great Wakering Rovers midfielder Alfie Hilton, and gave him an immediate debut in their draw at Histon.
Alfie has been at Great Wakering Rovers this season, making twenty appearances and scoring three goals, after spending the previous two seasons being the chief creative architect for Brentwood Town. He made forty eight appearances in all competitions for the Blues last season, scoring eight times, and thirty two appearances in 2017-18, scoring four times.
He previously played for Romford and Bowers & Pitsea, an important part of the Bowers side which came so close to FA Vase glory in 2016, losing in the Semi-Finals to eventual winners Morpeth Town.
