Hockey for Bowers

Chelmsford forward makes a debut for Bowers & Pitsea

Bowers and Pitsea had a new name in their ranks as they lost at Bishop's Stortford last night, as their number seven was Chelmsford City forward Freddie Hockey.

Freddie played the first hour for the side he scored against in a pre-season friendly for the Clarets, and has joined on a dual registration deal.

This isn't Freddie's first time in our League. He spent the end of last season on loan at Pitching In Isthmian North side Hullbridge Sports, and played six times, three wins, a draw and two defeats. He scored for Sports in victory at AFC Sudbury.

Prior to his time withy City, he was an Under 18 with Colchester United. He was also linked briefly with West Ham United last December.
