Maldon & Tiptree

Hot-shot Brad Hunter is back at Maldon & Tiptree after switching from Ryman North rivals Burnham Ramblers.

The striker, who fired Burnham to the Essex Senior League title last season and was the league's joint top scorer with 27 goals, re-signed for the Blues on Monday after four seasons away.

Manager Terry Spillane's new forward kicked off his career at Cambridge United and turned out for Concord Rangers before joining Ramblers.

Meanwhile, defender Terry Griffiths, who never made a competitive appearance for Maldon, scored on his debut after moving in the other direction to join Keith Wilson and Dave Patient's squad at Burnham.

Griffiths found the net on Saturday in their 2-1 defeat at home to AFC Sudbury in the FA Cup's First Qualifying Round.
