If you want to watch some football- find a policeman

Wednesday fixture programme decimated- but one match remains...

Our programme of fixtures for this evening has sadly been decimated by the weather. First East Grinstead v South Park bit the dust, closely followed by Brentwood Town v Tilbury, so there'll be no queue outside the Brentwood Centre Arena tonight. Next AFC Hornchurch v Romford was rained off, so all attention turned to Thamesmead Town v VCD Athletic, but that was also confirmed postponed at 2PM.

But there is one match left- just one- so all football fans should head off to East Molesey this evening for a clash between Metropolitan Police and Leatherhead. Met sit in seventh place having lost 3-0 to Billericay Town in their last match on 19th December, whilst the Tanners are in eighteenth- but were impressive last time out, defeating Kingstonian 2-0 in our Bostik Matchday featured game on Saturday.

If you decide to go by train then Imber Court is ten minutes walk from Esher or Thames Ditton stations, or if you're driving the postcode is KT8 OBT- but check the state of the M25 before you set off (assuming you're going that way!).

Where next?

Tanners strike late to take the points Leatherhead win the only match of the day to survive the weather, to leap six places in the Bostik Premier Division
