Liam Bailey leaves Maldon and Tiptree

Maldon and Tiptree have announced the departure of boss Liam Bailey, who has decided that he can no longer combine his Jammers role with his full time job at Colchester United.

Liam took over at the club in August of last year, filling the hottest left vacant by the departure of Peter Taylor, taking the top job after previous spells as Assistant Manager and Caretaker Manager.

His interim replacement needs little introduction and has no shortage of management experience, Jamie Cureton stepping into the role on a temporary basis. Jamie was previously in charge of Bishop's Stortford and Enfield, and has been coaching at the Jammers since October.
