Johnson for the Motormen

Louie Johnson signs on at Redbridge

Pitching In Isthmian North side Redbridge may not have managed to play on Saturday, but fans of the Motormen did have a new signing to be excited about, as attacking midfielder Louie Johnson signed on after a move from Pitching In Southern Division One Central leaders Bedford Town. He signed for Bedford in September and made his debut in FA Cup victory over Bowers & Pitsea.

Louie started this season at Enfield, playing twice. He also finished last season with Enfield, and indeed was a big part of their promotion campaign, after making the move- between clubs, if not geographically- from Bishop's Stortford. He made a dozen appearances for the Blues as the 2019-20 season came to an unfortunate early close, and four more as the 20-21 season lasted almost no time at all.
