Keeper Kai makes Invicta debut

Kai McKenzie-Lyle is new at Folkestone Invicta

Folkestone Invicta had a new keeper between the sticks as they took on Cray Wanderers last night- and it looked like he'd have a perfect debut until two late Wands goals turned a victory into a draw.

Kai McKenzie-Lyle came through the ranks at National League side Barnet. Whilst a Bee, he buzzed off on a loan spell to St Ives Town, and another to Hayes and Yeading United, and was then snapped up by Liverpool. He became a regular part of the Reds Under 23 squad, before, after two years at Anfield, moving on to join Cambridge United.

Two years passed, and his next stop was National League South side Welling United, and he has also turned out for Chelmsford City.

Kai plays international football for Guyana.
