Knight to make latest Blues debut tonight?

Margate sign Lewis Knight -as they prepare to welcome Chatham Town tonight

Margate have announced the signing of defender Lewis Knight, who returns to Hartsdown Park after almost a year away.

Lewis signed for Blues in the summer of 2022, when he signed from another set of Blues, Billericay Town. He made nine appearances last season before heading to Enfield Town, where he made twenty seven appearances and scored six goals.

Knight joined the Billericay Blues in summer 2021, having moved over from National League South rivals Maidstone United. He also had some time on loan with St Albans City during his period with the Stones, having signed from the club from City, for whom he played during the 2018-19 season. He also he spent a little time with East Thurrock United, and turned out for Thamesmead Town back in 2016-17.

He started this season at Ashford United, where he made nine appearances and scored twice.

His other clubs include Welling United and Concord Rangers.
