Latest managerial maestros named

Enfield Town's Bradley Quinton, Garry Wilson at Hastings United and Cheshunt's Paul Wickenden are all looking forward to being measured up for new suits as the winners of October's Macron and Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month accolades.

Named on Thursday as the latest winners of the monthly competition to reward the Ryman's top bosses, they will also be presented with inscribed glass trophies to record their achievements at upcoming fixtures.

Like all winners and for the second season in a row, the trio will soon be choosing from three colours at the long established Nicholas Rowe Tailoring's 7000 sq ft Suit City in Redhill as part of a unique sponsorship partnership with the Ryman League.

Signed in time for the start of last term, under the terms of the sponsorship there is no restriction on the number of suits managers can win. Joint bosses, however, will have to collect more than one award with the monthly prizes restricted to one suit per winning club.

Towners manager Quinton will collect his first managerial honours of the campaign after guiding his side to three straight wins in the Ryman's top flight, victory over Cheshunt to reach the third round of Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas and a 2-1 win in an FA Cup Third Round replay at Hitchin Town after drawing 0-0 at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium.

In Ryman North, Cheshunt's Wickenden only replaced former manager Glen Alzapedi in September with the season well underway. He didn't take long to make his mark at Theobalds Lane in October, masterminding four wins and a draw in the league to push for the play-offs as well as victories in the FA Trophy over Hanwell Town and Heybridge Swifts.

Hastings United boss Garry Wilson was named as the top boss in Ryman South after he also led his side to two victories in the FA Trophy including last Saturday's 2-1 win at Chipstead in the first qualifying round. On top of that, four straight wins in the league saw the Arrows climb away from trouble at the wrong end of the table.
