Longhurst for Hill

Burgess Hill Town, who parted company with manager Jay Lovett last week, have today announced the appointment of Matt Longhurst to the top job.

Matt, who has most recently been coaching at Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Billericay Town, was in charge at Hill's South East rivals Ramsgate until resigning last April. He left the Rams after two and a half years in charge, departing with them occupying the final play off spot.

He was previously in charge at East Grinstead Town, steering the Wasps to the highest position in their history during his four years in charge. He also spent a brief spell as Assistant boss at Hastings United.
