Loyalist fans offered discount deal

Season ticket holders at Grays Athletic are being offered a special discount on the Ryman Premier club's home and away replica kits after it went on sale.

Blues officials announced on Wednesday that the kit could be purchased at forthcoming home games with season ticket holders offered £5 off the £35 price tag.

On the pitch, the Essex club have announced the signing of Maltese international Joseph Zerafa and former Chelsea youth teamer Ben Sampayo.

Zerafa, who can play at left-back or in midfield, has made two international appearances for Malta as a substitute. Right-back Sampayo's previous clubs include Greenock Morton, Chelmsford City and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Blues manager Jody Brown has also released striker Joe Benjamin who's attempts to force his way into his plans have been hampered by injury.

Thanking him for his efforts, Brown said: "It never really worked how I wanted it to and I have decided that above all the team and club comes first. I personally hope that Joe finds a club he can call home and fulfill his potential."
