Marlow look to go third- but Hall won’t roll over!

By Ian Townsend

Elsewhere, South Park Reigate look to reignite their play off hopes, whilst Chipstead look to move further clear of the bottom four

Marlow have been in fine form of late, six unbeaten, and with clean sheets in their last three. They welcome Southall tonight knowing that victory would take them up to third place- and perhaps more importantly open up a twelve point lead on the sides outside the top five. Their visitors also have play off hopes, and a win tonight would take them into the top five for the first time this season. Hall have had a fine campaign since promotion, and have lost only two of their last ten- indeed, they’ve lost only seven matches all season, a record which is bettered only by the leaders, Basingstoke Town. When the two sides met in West London on Bonfire Night, an Anthony O’Connor goal gave the hosts all three points.

South Park Reigate are down in tenth place, but despite a poor recent run find themselves only seven points behind the top five with two games in hand. If they have any hopes of joining the end of season party then three points tonight is surely a must, although with only two wins in ten finding three points hasn’t been easy of late. Visitors Chipstead are on a similar run, having taken only eight points from the last thirty available to them, and at only six points clear of the bottom four the Chips will want to increase that gap as quickly as possible. The two sides last met on August 25th, a Sam King goal earning three points for the Sparks.
