Marlow to host fundraiser to help paralysed local football coach

Saturday's match v Kings Langley to be 'pay what you can' with all profits to Gary Robbins

Marlow will tomorrow (Saturday 20th July) host Kings Langley in a pre-season friendly. This match will be more than just the run-of-the-mill training exercise, however, as entry will be by donation and all monies raised will go to support local football coach Gary Robbins as he learns to live with life changing injuries following a workplace accident.

Prior to his injury, Gary coached local side Bourne End Under Twelves for six years. He sadly had to give up the role, and Marlow- and indeed the local community- are helping him raise money to enable him to adapt his home and for other basic needs.

You can read more at the Marlow website, here, and if you can't get along to the match you can still help, as Gary has a Go Fund Me page here.

The action starts at 3PM.
