Hamlet stalwart Sanchez Ming makes Lewes debut

Prior to Saturday's match at Cray Wanderers, Lewes announced the arrival of long-time Dulwich Hamlet defender Sanchez Ming, and gave him an immediate debut as they came from behind to draw at Hayes Lane.

Sanchez was something of a legend at Hamlet, where he made close to three hundred appearances- although he only managed half a dozen this season. He became a first team regular at Champion Hill during the 2016-17 campaign, when his side got to the Play Off Final and he made fifty appearances- and he did even better the following season, playing a colossal fifty one times as Hamlet finally earned their promotion, coming on in the Play Off Final against Hendon at Imperial Fields as his side triumphed on penalties in front of three thousand, three hundred and twenty one.

He remained a big part of their side in National League South, making twenty one appearances that first season after promotion, left to play for Welling United and Dartford, then returned- and was still playing a full part last season as they sadly suffered relegation, playing thirty five times.

He has also spent time with Fisher Athletic, Welling United, Bishop's Stortford, Staines Town and Bromley.
