Mead were looking to go into Christmas just short of the top five with a win over an Urchins` outfit who had lost two out of four recently.
But when much-travelled striker Paul Vines broke the deadlock in the 66th minute to give the home side the lead, it looked as though it was going to be another blow to the visitors` promotion hopes.
However, five minutes into time added on at the end of the game, Leon McKenzie popped up with the Urchins` equaliser which leaves them still seven points behind leaders Cray Wanderers, but nine clear of sixth-placed Tilbury.
