Third manager of season sought

Ryman North Maldon & Titpree are looking for their third manager of the season after losing a second boss to a Football League club.

Officials at Park Drive launched the hunt for a new manager on Tuesday after David Wright was named as number two to newly appointed Colchester United manager Kevin Keen on Monday.

The 35-year-old former Ipswich Town and U's defender, pictured, was already an academy coach with the League One outfit and left his post with the best wishes of the Ryman North Jammers.

In a statement on their website, the club said: "Everyone at the club would like to wish David the very best for the future and we all hope he has a successful time at Colchester United."

Appointed in the summer as the successor to Kevin Watson who left to become assistant manager to Teddy Sheringham at Stevenage after just 11 days in charge, Wright leaves Maldon 14th in the table with ten wins and ten defeats from their 25 matches.

Officials say his number two Liam Bailey has been appointed as caretaker for their home game against Tilbury on Boxing Day.
