Kingstonian's play-off fate is no longer in their own hands after a stoppage time goal gave struggling visitors Farnborough a 2-1 victory at Kingsmeadow.
After a goalless first half, Farnborough opened the scoring in the 65th minute thanks to a Keith Emmerson effort. However, eight minutes later the K`s were back on level terms when Dan Bennett tapped home from a Joe Turner cross.
But Boro won the game in the fifth minute of added time when K's failed to clear a corner, allowing substitute Dean Joseph-Whittingham to curl home past Rob Tolfrey to take all the points for his team.
The win leaves Farnborough four points adrift of fifth-bottom Needham Market with a game in hand, while K`s remain three points behind the side occupying the final play-off spot, Enfield Town, and also have a game in hand.
Hendon remain in trouble at the bottom end of the table after suffering a best-of-five goal defeat at Earlsmead by a mid-table Leatherhead side beaten 5-0 at the weekend by Bognor Regis Town.
Kiernan Hughes-Mason gave the Tanners an early eighth minute lead. Carl McCluskey equalised in the 32nd minute and then eight minutes into the second period he gave the hosts the lead. But a brace in a minute from Frannie Collin with 17 minutes remaining turned the game in the Tanners` favour to leave the Greens still with work to do, being four points above the drop zone.
