Monday's Ryman Premier review

Ryman League Premier Division

A valuable win gave Enfield Town three much-needed points in their quest to avoid relegation on Monday night against Hendon at Earlsmead, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Town finally had the rub of the green that has been missing for so much of the season. When Liam Hope struck from close range five minutes before half-time it was against the run of play, but Town built on that in the second half.

New signing Jamie Richards certainly made his presence felt, setting up Tyler Campbell on 57 minutes for the visitors' second before capping his debut with a goal four minutes from time when he converted a loose ball to beat Greens keeper Ross Fitzsimons.

The vital win moves George Borg`s side to within five points of safety with games in hand on many of the sides around them.
