Northwood striker goes up in the world

South Central leaders lose their top scorer- as Sydney Ibe steps up to Dagenham and Redbridge

A big reason for Northwood's domination of the Pitching In Isthmian South Central in the first half of this season has been the form of forward Sydney Ibie, who has scored twelve goals- but the Woods will have to complete the campaign without their number ten, as his form has led him to jump three divisions and sign for National League promotion hopefuls Dagenham & Redbridge.

Sydney joined Woods midway through last season after leaving Potters Bar Town, and played a big part in their climb to mid table security and their magnificent away form, weighing in with seven goals. He has been training with the Daggers, and has been so impressive they've offered him a full time deal.

The very best of luck to Sydney- we hope his career goes from strength to strength.
