Obi Jammer

Daniel Obi may not have expected to have to work quite so hard on his debut for Maldon & Tiptree against Hashtag United on Friday night- but the defender had to contend with being one of only nine players on the field for the Jammers after two were sent off.

Daniel, who has joined the club on loan from Dagenham and Redbridge for the rest of the campaign, will not be entirely unfamiliar to Isthmian watchers, as he has already had a loan spell at Hornchurch this season. He made four appearances for the Urchins during November.

Previously of Leicester City, he left the King Power Stadium in the summer, so has been with the Daggers for only a relatively short time.
