Taofiq Olomowewe makes his Potters Bar Town debut

Potters Bar Town gave a debut to loan signing Taofiq Olomowewe in Saturday's narrow loss at Margate.

Taofiq, a centre back, won't have felt out of place on the Kent coast, as he spent the last part of last season down there, turning out for Ramsgate. He played thirteen times as the Rams narrowly missed out on promotion, and scored four goals too.

Taofiq. first came to prominence after winning the Nike UK Academy trial in 2015, had a brief spell at Maldon & Tiptree, and joined Enfield Town on loan for a short time before moving there permanently. He moved on to play for Worthing in December 2018, and since then has played for a number of clubs at a higher level, amongst them Hungerford Town, Chelmsford City, Hemel Hempstead Town, Braintree Town, Weymouth, Dulwich Hamlet and most recently Welling United. His move from Welling is initially for one month.
