Olumide Oluwatimilehin is new at Haywards Heath

It seems only ten minutes since we announced him at Ashford United, and he's already picking up man of the match awards at Hanbury Park!

Haywards Heath Town gave a debut to midfielder Olumide Oluwatimilehin against Ramsgate on Saturday, and then gave him the man of the match award. This caught us somewhat on the hop, as it was only last month we were announcing him at Ashford United!

He played only once for the Nuts and Bolts, in their opening day win at Heath's rivals Burgess Hill Town, and it seems he liked the area so much he decided to stay!

Olumide ended last season chasing North Division promotion with Maldon & Tiptree. He made twenty two appearances for the Jammers after his move from Barking in early December. He made nine appearances for the Blues prior to that move, scoring twice.

The player spent 2019-20 with Wingate and Finchley, making thirty three appearances before our campaign crashed and burned as the pandemic arrived. He has a great deal of Pitching In Isthmian experience, as he also played in our Premier Division for Hornchurch, Lewes and Kingstonian, and at Step Four for Three Bridges and Whyteleafe.

The 2020-21 season saw him even higher, at Step Two, as he turned out for Braintree Town.
