O'Mara for Bay

Herne Bay last night announced the loan signing of defender Finn O'Mara, who makes the move from the Sussex coast to the Kent coast.

Finn first signed for Hastings United in November of last season, initially on loan from Folkestone Invicta, before making the move permanent in January. He was a big part of their promotion winning side and has made eleven appearances this season. he also had a brief loan spell at Cray Valley PM earlier this season, playing three times.

Finn joined Invicta from Gillingham, where he went from the youth ranks aged thirteen to the first team squad. He had two loan spells at Folkestone and signed permanently in October 2018. He made ten appearances last season, most of them from the bench, but had been a regular starter during the previous three seasons, even weighing in with a few important goals.
