Pamment is a Hornet!

Forward makes Horsham the next stop on his Sussex tour

We were rather surprised when Lewes announced the departure of forward/midfielder Kieron Pamment recently. The forward had been an undoubted success for the Rooks, after joining them in November from Burgess Hill Town; and he had also been a great success for the Hillians, after joining them from Worthing, for whom he had been a great success. You get the picture?

Well now he has the chance to be a great success for Horsham- again, as he played for them when they were promoted from the SCFL- as he has signed for the Hornets and made a debut as a substitute in their draw at Metropolitan Police yesterday.

He made five appearances for the Rooks this season before his departure, and twenty three last season, scoring four goals. He'd also made fifteen appearances for the Hillians- scoring two goals. His final season with the Mackerel Men saw him at his most prolific in front of goal, scoring sixteen times- including two beauties as Worthing defeated our 2017-18 champions Billericay Town at Woodside Road.

Horsham also signed Gary Chapman from Bognor Regis Town, but Gary is some way from full fitness and may not appear for some months.
