Percy goes to Town

Colchester striker heads to Hertford on loan

Hertford Town have signed Colchester United striker Percy Kiangebeni on loan until January.

Percy has been turning out for the United Under 23's, as well as spending some time on loan to Concord Rangers in National League South. United are loaning him out simply to get him more experience of men's football.

He moved to Colchester from St Albans City, playing seventy six times for City after joining the club from Enfield Town. He has a contact up until June next year. St Albans cancelled his contract after he felt he wasn't getting enough playing time, and it seems he signed for United the very next day!

We've seen him described as a defender, a midfielder and a striker, so it seems he's a bit of a utility man!
