Brentwood striker moves to a different Town

Billericay Town have announced the signing of Brentwood Town striker Matthew Price. He has scored four goals in eleven appearances this season.

Matthew had a magnificent 2021-22 season for Canvey, scoring thirty two times- including the equaliser in the Play Off Final against the club he subsequently joined in the summer.

He was previously with Coggeshall Town, East Thurrock United, and famously Heybridge Swifts, where he scored twenty two goals in 2018-19, and thirty six the season before (half for Brentwood, coincidentally), winning the Golden Boot. He previously played for Horsham and Tooting & Mitcham United.
