Matt Rowley makes Bognor debut

Bognor Regis Town travelled to high-scoring Hornchurch last night and did their best to thwart the title-chasing Urchins- and they did so helped by their new keeper, Reading youngster Matt Rowley, who joined them on loan yesterday. He is scheduled to remain at Nyewood Lane until April.

Matt had a fine debut, picked up a yellow card for his troubles, and will be disappointed to have been on the losing side- but despite facing the two highest scoring strikers in the Division it took a penalty to beat him, so he can be proud of his efforts.

Matt has played youth, Under 18, Under 21 and Under 23 football at the Madejski Stadium, and signed his first professional deal last summer.
