Regent bring in Mvemba

Full back Sam heads to Brightlingsea

Brightlingsea Regent yesterday announced the signing of former Romford, Aveley and Bishop's Stortford left back Sam Mvemba.

Sam Sam made thirty seven appearances for the Millers during the 2019-20 season, making the number three shirt his own and playing an enormous part in their run to the Quarter Finals of the FA Trophy and their climb to second place in the North Division. That followed forty two appearances in 2018-19, as the club got to the Semi-Finals of the playoffs.

He then moved over to Stortford in the summer of 2020, made thirteen appearances, and was a vital part of their run to the FA Cup First Round last season, before climbing a level to Welling United where our season came to an early end.

This season has seen him injured, but he should be in contention to start for Regent as they welcome Folkestone Invicta on Saturday.
