Mascots galore!

Three new mascots unveiled in a week as Ashford United unveil Ash the Tree, Cheshunt sign Amber the Lion and Bedfont Sports land Eddy the Eagle!

We don't often bring you mascot news- shame on us- but we thought we'd bring you a little today, and some photographic evidence! Over the last week three of our clubs have unveiled new mascots, and here they are in all their glory!

First up our headline image is of Ash the Tree, who made his Ashford United debut on Saturday as they defeated Sevenoaks Town. Ash was designed by eleven year old Phoebe Clark-Tate of Smeeth Community Primary School, and you can read more about him here.

Cheshunt had a new mascot for their FA Trophy trip to Stockport County, and he got rave reviews. Apparently he can even do a backflip, which must be useful when he's chasing gazelle along the banks of the River Lea.

Finally, Bedfont Sports have also unveiled a new mascot. Eddy the Eagle, who will be hunting down some Green Lions when Guernsey visit tonight. You can watch a video of his arrival here.
