Rooks bring in Braintree defender

Christian Frimpong is their fourth signing this week


Lewes announced three new signings prior to Wednesday's home match with Worthing, and last night the Rooks confirmed a fourth- Braintree Town defender Christian Frimpong.

Christian played for Bristol City as a teenager, before joining Swindon Town on a Scholarship deal. He left the County Ground in 2017, had a trial with Norwich City, but then signed for Braintree. He's been with the Iron ever since, and can play as a centre back or as a full back.

Stacey Freeman has left the club to join Whitehawk.
