Former Tanners, Romford and Walthamstow midfielder Salim Nassor new at Basildon United

Pitching In isthmian North promotion chasers Basildon United yesterday announced the signing of midfielder Salim Nassor.

Salim does have previous Pitching In isthmian experience, courtesy of a spell with Leatherhead, where he played seven times towards the end of the 2016-17 season, and a short time at Romford at the start of the Glen Tamplin era (although in hindsight it was more of an affliction than an era).

Salim has also played for Peterhead, Clapton, North Greenford, Walthamstow, Leytonstone and Fisher.
