Seasider Ollie back in Stow

Stowmarket Town bring in Felixstowe talisman Ollie Canfer

Over the last few seasons it has often seemed as if every critical goal for Felixstowe and Walton United was scored by midfielder Ollie Canfer- and now the Seasiders midfielder will be hoping to score them for Stowmarket Town, having confirmed a move back to his hometown club.

Ollie delivered nine goals from his twenty four matches last season- scoring against Stow in January and on the winning side against them twice. He managed twelve goals in the 21-22 campaign- again on the winning side when appearing against Stow- had six in eleven matches when 21-21 shuddered to an early end, and nine in fifteen matches before the premature departure of 2019-20.

He joined the Seasiders from Mildenhall Town in November 2019, and spent 18-19 with Stow, a season which saw him again rather deadly in front of goal. He was previously with Bury Town, Brightlingsea Regent, AFC Sudbury, Ramsgate (his SatNav must have gone badly wrong on that occasion) and Needham Market.
