Jake Tabor makes his Northwood bow

Pitching In South Central leaders Northwood won for the sixth consecutive time on Saturday, extending the gap at the top to five points. They also had a new name in their ranks, as forward Jake Tabor came on as a second half substitute in victory over Sutton Common Rovers.

Jake, 19, moves up from Harpenden Town of the Spartan South Midlands Premier, where he has already scored four goals. He was part of the side which lost two-nil at Maldon & Tiptree in the FA Cup earlier this season.

Prior to his time at Harpenden he was prolific with Oxhey Jets, and also turned out for Crawley Green and for Berkampstead.
