Lexus Beeden is an Oak

A Sevenoaks debut for the former Herne Bay man

Sevenoaks Town had a new number six in their ranks as they defeated Hertford Town in the FA Trophy on Saturday, after the arrival of defender Lexus Beeden from Herne Bay.

Lexus came through the ranks at Tooting & Mitcham before becoming the next of their youths to pick up a professional deal, signing for Reading. He played Under 21 football for the Championship club before heading to Welling United, and then went north, signing for Darlington. His time with the Quakers also saw a loan spell in Billingham before he returned south in the summer, and he has made eight appearances for Bay this season.
